Step 1 - Generate the Private Key using the Ethos BIP39 Tool.

  1. Select Blockchain Type Cardano
  2. Leave Starting Wallet Index as
  3. Enter the number of wallets to produce. If you only have one SmartWallet, you can enter 1. If you have multiple SmartWallets you can enter the number of wallets in your Ethos Universal Wallet App to get a private key for each wallet.

  1. Enter your 24 word SmartKey starting top left to right
  2. Click Derive Addresses

  3. Compare the Cardano address generated to the Cardano address in your Ethos SmartWallet with the funds you plan to move. The corresponding private key will be used to move the Cardano funds from the Ethos Universal wallet.

The wallets generated in the Bip39 Tool will be in the same order the SmartWallets were created in the app. SmartWallets are ordered in the Ethos Universal Wallet alphabetically, not chronologically so keep this in mind when looking for the correct private key. They may not appear in the same order because of this.
